Q: What do I get for my LICA Membership?

A: Depending on which type of membership you purchased the benefits vary but what is consistent across all memberships is:

Q: Are memberships pro-rated?
​
A: No. LICA Memberships run from the date you join and do not reset by calendar year so there is no need to issue pro-rated options.

Q: I have a Corporate Membership do I need to add each person from my organization?
​
A. No. The person who sets up the membership is the primary owner of the membership and their login is what is used for each registration. They can add any member or client to attend with them up to the limit of your membership after which you would need to pay for the additional participants.

Q: I registered for an event and I'm a member. Why is the system charging me?
​
A: To obtain your free access to the events you must be logged in to the website before you register. The discount will be applied at checkout when the balance will be zeroed out for workshops.

Q: I don't want to be a member anymore how do I cancel my subscription?
​
A: LICA membership fees are all set to auto-renew and charge to the card you put on file. Should you wish to cancel your membership, you must login to your primary account and cancel the membership. Please note, if you do not cancel prior to the renewal date and are charged, LICA does not issue refunds after 48 hours of the renewal.

Q: I received an email that my membership cancelled, but I still want to be a member?​
​
A: This is most likely due to a payment issue with the card on file or because you provided your membership payment via check offline.

For credit card issues you can login and update your payment information, the system will provide a grace period prior to cancellation and notifications are automatically issued to the primary member email.

For offline payments, LICA Membership Chair or representative will email you regarding renewal

Q: I registered for an event and can't attend, can I get a refund?
​
A: LICA does not issue refunds for workshop registrations after 48 hours.
